Katherine Magnoli has recently expanded her mission of inclusion for children with disabilities to feel accepted, seen, and heard through literature from writing KatGirl to creating a new book project where she hears your stories!
This Children’s Collaboration Book Project is an exciting opportunity for kids ages 9–12 to use their voices, creativity, and imagination through writing and art. By coming together as young authors, these children will share their stories, poems, and drawings in a published book that celebrates their unique perspectives and encourages them to see themselves as leaders and storytellers. The project not only builds confidence and literacy skills but also creates a space where children can learn the power of collaboration and community.
Katherine Magnoli would like to take a minute to thank Hector Del Valle and Daniel Ruiz for helping turn her vision into a reality. Her passion for empowering children, especially those with disabilities, has been the spark behind bringing this idea to life. With the teamwork of herself, Daniel Ruiz and Hector Del Valle, they are thrilled to head into the next phase of this mission by inviting families and children with disabilities to share the stories of their unique lived experiences.
